Three women in the U.S. will be honored as Women of the Earth because of their work benefiting nature and humanity. Each will receive cash prizes totaling $15,000 at a ceremony in France in March next year to fund their programs. An additional international prize held on Woman’s Day, in which only the first-prize winners from each participating country are eligible, will also be awarded.
